Welcome Back!

Want to learn to design and create prototypes? Come join the the Engineering Design Center! The EDC is a new makerspace for 3D printing, circuit building, soldering, wood/metal fabrication, and much more. It is open to UA engineering students who want to learn new skills, make use of equipment or just need a comfortable place to work. To begin using the space, students must take the EDC orientation with one of the technicians, after which they will have 24/7 CatCard access. For orientation times, see the Getting Started page.

Technician availability:
10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday
Access to the Electronics and Machine Rooms are only during the above times when technicians are present to unlock the room.
